# Roundabout vs Golf4Watch Rangefinder

The clearest difference is rating: Roundabout at 4.6 against Golf4Watch Rangefinder's 4.1. Roundabout also leads on ratings volume (5.1K vs 33) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.1). Golf4Watch Rangefinder's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 56%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roundabout sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Golf4Watch Rangefinder sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Roundabout holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roundabout has 5.1K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Roundabout's written reviews are positive against 71% of Golf4Watch Rangefinder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Roundabout ships an update every 2 weeks, Golf4Watch Rangefinder every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
