# Roundabout vs GolfWatch

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GolfWatch at 100% against Roundabout's 56%. Roundabout's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (5.1K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roundabout sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and GolfWatch sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Roundabout holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roundabout has 5.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Roundabout's written reviews are positive against 100% of GolfWatch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Roundabout ships an update every 2 weeks, GolfWatch every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
