# Roundabout vs Simplify Golf

The clearest difference is rating: Simplify Golf at 5.0 against Roundabout's 4.6. Simplify Golf also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). Roundabout's advantage is ratings volume (5.1K vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Roundabout sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Simplify Golf sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simplify Golf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Roundabout has 5.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Roundabout ships an update every 2 weeks, Simplify Golf every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
