# Soundboard Studio Pro vs Keys Trainer

Soundboard Studio Pro and Keys Trainer both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 66% of Soundboard Studio Pro's written reviews are positive against 0% of Keys Trainer's. Soundboard Studio Pro also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (200 vs 2). Keys Trainer's advantage is price ($2.99 vs $159.99). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Soundboard Studio Pro costs $159.99 and Keys Trainer $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Keys Trainer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Soundboard Studio Pro has 200 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Soundboard Studio Pro's written reviews are positive against 0% of Keys Trainer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Soundboard Studio Pro ships an update every 2 weeks, Keys Trainer every 9 months. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
