# Marjane vs Hanan Channel

The clearest difference is ads: Hanan Channel at none against Marjane's shown. Hanan Channel also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (68% vs 44%). Marjane's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 29) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Marjane against 4.8 for Hanan Channel. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Marjane has 1.4K ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 44% of Marjane's written reviews are positive against 68% of Hanan Channel's.

Marjane ships an update every 2 months, Hanan Channel every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
