# Marjane vs Zweely

The clearest difference is update cadence: Zweely at weekly against Marjane's every 2 months. Zweely also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Marjane's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Zweely holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Marjane has 1.4K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Marjane ships an update every 2 months, Zweely weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
