# Videoloft vs SmartView Pro

The clearest difference is rating: SmartView Pro at 5.0 against Videoloft's 4.8. SmartView Pro also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). Videoloft's advantage is ratings volume (66 vs 6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SmartView Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Videoloft has 66 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
