# Adept Roll vs WUBRG

The clearest difference is monetization model: WUBRG at free against Adept Roll's free with in-app purchases. WUBRG also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 80%). Adept Roll's advantage is ratings volume (211 vs 5). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Adept Roll sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per year and WUBRG sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WUBRG holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Adept Roll has 211 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of Adept Roll's written reviews are positive against 100% of WUBRG's.

Adept Roll ships an update every 5 days, WUBRG every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
