# Double Camera vs Chimege Sub

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chimege Sub at 100% against Double Camera's 32%. Double Camera's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 2.8) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Double Camera sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Chimege Sub sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Double Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Double Camera has 1.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Double Camera's written reviews are positive against 100% of Chimege Sub's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Double Camera ships an update every 9 days, Chimege Sub every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
