# Double Camera vs DualCap

The clearest difference is rating: DualCap at 5.0 against Double Camera's 4.6. Double Camera's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Double Camera sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and DualCap sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DualCap holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Double Camera has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Double Camera ships an update every 9 days, DualCap every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
