# TouchGO vs CarMaintLog

The clearest difference is update cadence: CarMaintLog at every 4 days against TouchGO's monthly. CarMaintLog also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TouchGO sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and CarMaintLog sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TouchGO ships an update monthly, CarMaintLog every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
