# TouchGO vs KidsShield

The clearest difference is ads: KidsShield at none against TouchGO's shown. KidsShield also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TouchGO sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and KidsShield sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
