# Book Tracker vs Opus Classics

The clearest difference is update cadence: Opus Classics at every 10 days against Book Tracker's every 5 weeks. Book Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (744 vs 38) and review sentiment (93% vs 80%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Book Tracker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Opus Classics sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Book Tracker against 4.8 for Opus Classics. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Book Tracker has 744 ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Book Tracker's written reviews are positive against 80% of Opus Classics's.

Book Tracker ships an update every 5 weeks, Opus Classics every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
