# Tiimo vs PlanPat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PlanPat at 100% against Tiimo's 48%. PlanPat also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Tiimo's advantage is ratings volume (21K vs 3) and chart position (#175 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tiimo sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $7.00 per month and PlanPat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlanPat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tiimo has 21K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of Tiimo's written reviews are positive against 100% of PlanPat's.

Tiimo ships an update weekly, PlanPat every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
