# Tiimo vs Vertical DNA

The clearest difference is rating: Vertical DNA at 5.0 against Tiimo's 4.6. Tiimo's advantage is ratings volume (21K vs 1) and chart position (#176 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tiimo sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $7.00 per month and Vertical DNA sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vertical DNA holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tiimo has 21K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tiimo ships an update weekly, Vertical DNA fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
