# Spectrolite vs Granula Synth

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Spectrolite at 83% against Granula Synth's 20%. Spectrolite also leads on rating (4.8 vs 1.8) and update cadence (every 8 months vs every 25 months). Granula Synth's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spectrolite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Granula Synth sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spectrolite holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.8.
