# Arm Care vs PG Scout

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PG Scout at none against Arm Care's 10. PG Scout also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Arm Care's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (3K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arm Care sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. PG Scout asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Arm Care against 5.0 for PG Scout. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arm Care has 3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
