# Handwoven vs Resource Guides

Handwoven and Resource Guides both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Resource Guides's written reviews are positive against 63% of Handwoven's. Resource Guides also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 28). Handwoven's advantage is ratings volume (302 vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Handwoven sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Resource Guides asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Handwoven against 5.0 for Resource Guides. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Handwoven has 302 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 63% of Handwoven's written reviews are positive against 100% of Resource Guides's.
