# CORE Golf vs Birdietraining

The clearest difference is monetization model: Birdietraining at free with in-app purchases against CORE Golf's subscription. Birdietraining also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 69%) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CORE Golf sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Birdietraining sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CORE Golf ships an update monthly, Birdietraining weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
