# OPEN BEYOND vs IPTV Smarters Player Expert

The clearest difference is rating: IPTV Smarters Player Expert at 4.3 against OPEN BEYOND's 3.4. IPTV Smarters Player Expert also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (486 vs 8). OPEN BEYOND's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IPTV Smarters Player Expert sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. OPEN BEYOND asks for nothing beyond the download.

IPTV Smarters Player Expert holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Smarters Player Expert has 486 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of OPEN BEYOND's written reviews are positive against 75% of IPTV Smarters Player Expert's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

OPEN BEYOND ships an update every 9 months, IPTV Smarters Player Expert every 3 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
