# Weber Connect vs iGulu

Weber Connect and iGulu both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of iGulu's written reviews are positive against 32% of Weber Connect's. iGulu also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Weber Connect's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Weber Connect against 4.7 for iGulu. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Weber Connect has 3.4K ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 32% of Weber Connect's written reviews are positive against 67% of iGulu's.

Weber Connect ships an update every 2 months, iGulu weekly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
