# SharkSmart WA vs BrainTrack

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SharkSmart WA at 112 against BrainTrack's 1. SharkSmart WA also leads on review sentiment (68% vs 49%). BrainTrack's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BrainTrack holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SharkSmart WA has 112 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of SharkSmart WA's written reviews are positive against 49% of BrainTrack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SharkSmart WA ships an update every 4 months, BrainTrack every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 7, 2026.
