# appWash by Miele vs Mae

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mae at 83% against appWash by Miele's 32%. Mae also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). appWash by Miele's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ads (none vs shown). On price, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mae sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. appWash by Miele asks for nothing beyond the download.

appWash by Miele holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: appWash by Miele has 319 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of appWash by Miele's written reviews are positive against 83% of Mae's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

appWash by Miele ships an update every 2 months, Mae every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
