# Jiveworld vs Studia Spanish

The clearest difference is monetization model: Jiveworld at free with in-app purchases against Studia Spanish's subscription. Jiveworld also leads on ratings volume (386 vs 6). Studia Spanish's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jiveworld sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Studia Spanish sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Jiveworld against 4.8 for Studia Spanish. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jiveworld has 386 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of Jiveworld's written reviews are positive against 100% of Studia Spanish's.

Jiveworld ships an update every 2 months, Studia Spanish every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
