# Jiveworld vs Aurelia

The clearest difference is ads: Aurelia at none against Jiveworld's shown. Aurelia also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Jiveworld's advantage is ratings volume (443 vs 20). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jiveworld sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Aurelia sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Jiveworld against 5.0 for Aurelia. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jiveworld has 443 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 95% of Jiveworld's written reviews are positive against 100% of Aurelia's.

Jiveworld ships an update every 2 months, Aurelia fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
