# TaskHero vs Chorebound

The clearest difference is ads: Chorebound at none against TaskHero's shown. TaskHero's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (41 vs 5). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TaskHero sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Chorebound sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for TaskHero against 4.8 for Chorebound. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TaskHero has 41 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TaskHero ships an update weekly, Chorebound monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
