# My Spectra vs First Face

The clearest difference is update cadence: First Face at fortnightly against My Spectra's every 3 months. My Spectra's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

My Spectra ships an update every 3 months, First Face fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
