# Hyperice vs ISRU

The clearest difference is rating: ISRU at 4.6 against Hyperice's 4.0. ISRU also leads on review sentiment (65% vs 34%) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). Hyperice's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 14). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ISRU holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hyperice has 1.1K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 34% of Hyperice's written reviews are positive against 65% of ISRU's.

Hyperice ships an update every 3 weeks, ISRU every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
