# TysonPlus vs WATCHVIM

The clearest difference is rating: WATCHVIM at 5.0 against TysonPlus's 4.5. TysonPlus's advantage is ratings volume (343 vs 1) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TysonPlus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and WATCHVIM sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WATCHVIM holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TysonPlus has 343 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TysonPlus ships an update every 5 weeks, WATCHVIM every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 18, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
