# TysonPlus vs How to Man

The clearest difference is monetization model: How to Man at free with in-app purchases against TysonPlus's subscription. How to Man also leads on review sentiment (88% vs 62%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.6). TysonPlus's advantage is ratings volume (343 vs 8). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TysonPlus sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and How to Man sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for TysonPlus against 4.6 for How to Man. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TysonPlus has 343 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of TysonPlus's written reviews are positive against 88% of How to Man's.

TysonPlus ships an update every 5 weeks, How to Man every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
