# Boldswitch vs Figur

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Boldswitch at 64% against Figur's 27%. Figur's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Figur holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 19 and 27 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Boldswitch's written reviews are positive against 27% of Figur's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Boldswitch ships an update every 2 weeks, Figur every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
