# Boldswitch vs Verto

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Boldswitch at 64% against Verto's 40%. Verto's advantage is rating (3.6 vs 3.3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Verto holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 19 and 16 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Boldswitch's written reviews are positive against 40% of Verto's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
