# Packaroo vs Packing List

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Packaroo at 83% against Packing List's 33%. Packaroo also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Packaroo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Packing List sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Packaroo holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Packaroo has 130 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of Packaroo's written reviews are positive against 33% of Packing List's.

Packaroo ships an update every 6 days, Packing List every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
