# VPN SURF vs BlitzVPN Pro

The clearest difference is update cadence: BlitzVPN Pro at every 3 days against VPN SURF's every 2 months. VPN SURF's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 16.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN SURF sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and BlitzVPN Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $10.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN SURF ships an update every 2 months, BlitzVPN Pro every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
