# Kommute vs MyRapid PULSE

The clearest difference is rating: Kommute at 5.0 against MyRapid PULSE's 1.8. Kommute also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). MyRapid PULSE's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kommute holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyRapid PULSE has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Kommute ships an update every 6 weeks, MyRapid PULSE fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
