# QuietCool Smart Control vs Request Cerritos

The clearest difference is rating: QuietCool Smart Control at 4.7 against Request Cerritos's 4.0. QuietCool Smart Control also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 4). Request Cerritos's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 39%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

QuietCool Smart Control holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuietCool Smart Control has 15K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of QuietCool Smart Control's written reviews are positive against 50% of Request Cerritos's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
