# QuietCool Smart Control vs M&Co

The clearest difference is ratings volume: QuietCool Smart Control at 15K against M&Co's 16. QuietCool Smart Control also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). M&Co's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for QuietCool Smart Control against 4.8 for M&Co. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuietCool Smart Control has 15K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two.

QuietCool Smart Control ships an update every 2 months, M&Co every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
