# Shelly Home vs CloudHawk

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Shelly Home at 88% against CloudHawk's 12%. Shelly Home also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). CloudHawk's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shelly Home sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. CloudHawk asks for nothing beyond the download.

CloudHawk holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shelly Home has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Shelly Home's written reviews are positive against 12% of CloudHawk's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shelly Home ships an update every 2 weeks, CloudHawk every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
