# Aesthetic wallpaper vs Rushboard

The clearest difference is rating: Rushboard at 5.0 against Aesthetic wallpaper's 3.6. Rushboard also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). Aesthetic wallpaper's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aesthetic wallpaper sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Rushboard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rushboard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aesthetic wallpaper has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Aesthetic wallpaper ships an update every 6 weeks, Rushboard fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
