# DPC Tools vs METH

The clearest difference is rating: METH at 5.0 against DPC Tools's 3.4. METH also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). DPC Tools's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

METH holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DPC Tools has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 0% and 0% positive.

DPC Tools ships an update every 2 months, METH every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
