# West Side Car Wash vs Scheels

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scheels at every 9 days against West Side Car Wash's every 22 months. Scheels also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 1) and chart position (#176 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for West Side Car Wash against 4.9 for Scheels. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scheels has 14K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

West Side Car Wash ships an update every 22 months, Scheels every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
