# Aruba Smart Map vs myAruba

The clearest difference is rating: myAruba at 4.8 against Aruba Smart Map's 4.2. myAruba also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (598 vs 38). Aruba Smart Map's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

myAruba holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: myAruba has 598 ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Aruba Smart Map's written reviews are positive against 50% of myAruba's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Aruba Smart Map ships an update every 3 weeks, myAruba every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
