# BYOU Wellbeing vs Positive Intelligence

The clearest difference is monetization model: BYOU Wellbeing at free against Positive Intelligence's free with in-app purchases. BYOU Wellbeing also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 78%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Positive Intelligence's advantage is ratings volume (176 vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BYOU Wellbeing sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Positive Intelligence sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BYOU Wellbeing holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Positive Intelligence has 176 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of BYOU Wellbeing's written reviews are positive against 78% of Positive Intelligence's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
