# HDFleet vs Nexar Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Nexar Connect at 4.6 against HDFleet's 4.0. Nexar Connect also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 10). HDFleet's advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and review sentiment (67% vs 39%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nexar Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nexar Connect has 1.4K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of HDFleet's written reviews are positive against 39% of Nexar Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
