# Random Gallery vs Facel

The clearest difference is rating: Facel at 5.0 against Random Gallery's 3.3. Facel also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 months). Random Gallery's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Facel sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Random Gallery asks for nothing beyond the download.

Facel holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Random Gallery has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Random Gallery ships an update every 5 months, Facel every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and August 28, 2026 respectively.
