# Multicam Pro vs Dual Camera

The clearest difference is rating: Dual Camera at 4.5 against Multicam Pro's 2.6. Dual Camera also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 43%) and ratings volume (81 vs 16). Multicam Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Multicam Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dual Camera sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dual Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dual Camera has 81 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of Multicam Pro's written reviews are positive against 75% of Dual Camera's.

Multicam Pro ships an update every 10 days, Dual Camera every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
