# Setlist Carrot vs Lyrix

The clearest difference is rating: Lyrix at 4.7 against Setlist Carrot's 3.9. Lyrix also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 19 months) and ratings volume (7.3K vs 15). Setlist Carrot's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 13%) and in-app purchases (none vs 8). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lyrix sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Setlist Carrot asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lyrix holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lyrix has 7.3K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Setlist Carrot's written reviews are positive against 13% of Lyrix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Setlist Carrot ships an update every 19 months, Lyrix every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
