# WorkWhile vs Reflex

The clearest difference is update cadence: Reflex at fortnightly against WorkWhile's every 6 weeks. WorkWhile's advantage is ratings volume (19K vs 1.6K) and chart position (#109 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for WorkWhile against 4.7 for Reflex. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WorkWhile has 19K ratings behind it against 1.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 42% and 41% positive.

WorkWhile ships an update every 6 weeks, Reflex fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
