# testo Smart vs Gree

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Gree at 82% against testo Smart's 16%. Gree also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). testo Smart's advantage is rating (2.7 vs 2.3) and ratings volume (170 vs 6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. testo Smart sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Gree asks for nothing beyond the download.

testo Smart holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: testo Smart has 170 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of testo Smart's written reviews are positive against 82% of Gree's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

testo Smart ships an update every 2 months, Gree every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
