# GetSkins vs GGSTANDOFF

The clearest difference is ads: GetSkins at none against GGSTANDOFF's shown. GetSkins also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 14 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). GGSTANDOFF's advantage is review sentiment (92% vs 67%) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 3). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GetSkins holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GGSTANDOFF has 2.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of GetSkins's written reviews are positive against 92% of GGSTANDOFF's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GetSkins ships an update every 10 days, GGSTANDOFF every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
